Helpful Huey is a colour identifier for iPhone. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no servers.

None. Helpful Huey does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

The app needs access to your camera in order to read the colour in front of it. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device, in memory, to calculate the average colour under the on-screen target box. Photographs and video are never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere.

When you save a colour, the app stores the colour's name, hex code, measured value, description and the date on your device only, so the list is still there next time you open the app. This data never leaves your iPhone. Deleting an entry in the app, or deleting the app itself, removes it permanently. We have no copy and no way to retrieve it.

Helpful Huey does not connect to the internet. Its colour database is bundled inside the app.

This policy covers the Helpful Huey app. This website is hosted by GoDaddy, which uses standard cookies to measure website traffic; that is separate from the app, which has no internet connection at all.

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

If a future version of the app changes what it does with your information, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
